Renaissance Main Gauche Rapier

*Typically this sword had no edge, being used only for thrusting attacks. This was the high period of duels for honor and fighting with two weapons. The blade of the sword is 440 stainless with an unsharpened edge and point. A ridge runs down the center of the blade ending at a ricasso. The blade also carries a mirror polished finish. Also, the scabbard is constructed of black leather. The scabbard throat and drag are both black steel. The guard is a swept hilt design with two finger rings. The handle of the sword is also steel with a black wire wrap. The pommel of the sword is solid steel with four points for offensive moves.
