The scarab beetle was a symbol of resurrection, flight and eternal life to the Ancient Egyptians. The scarab is surrounded by a wing like pattern, a further symbol of flight. Available in sterling silver and 14k. gold in US sizes 5 to 13, in whole and half sizes. Sizes 13½ (13.5) and larger are an additional $10.00 US in sterling silver, $20.00 US in 14k. gold. The ring measures approximately 11.2 mm (just under 1/2") wide and the band measures 3 mm (1/8") wide. The ring weighs approximately 7.5 grams in sterling silver, weight will vary with size.
